How We Verify Employer Information

The sources and process behind the pay ranges, requirements, and application steps we publish about US employers.

What we check

For each employer we cover, we verify the details that matter to an applicant: the official careers/application URL, common roles, typical pay range, minimum age to apply, general benefits, and how the online application works.

We describe who a job is a realistic fit for — and what to expect from pay and schedules — without overpromising.

Our sources

Pay and role information comes from the employer’s official careers site where available, cross-checked against reputable sources such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and major job platforms. Pay varies by location, role, and experience, so we present ranges and always point you to the employer for the current figure.

When a specific number cannot be confirmed, we do not publish a guessed value — we say pay “varies by role and location” and link to the official source.

How advertising is separated

This site earns revenue from advertising displayed on the page. That revenue does not determine which employers we cover or what we say about them. See our Advertiser Disclosure.
