Roles and Responsibilities
As a member of Marriott’s housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all rooms and common areas are clean and well-organized. Your tasks will include:
- Room Cleaning: Perform cleaning and tidying of guest rooms, including changing linens, replenishing towels and toiletries, and organizing guests’ belongings in a careful and respectful manner.
- Maintenance of Common Areas: Clean and maintain common areas such as corridors, lobbies, and recreational areas, ensuring they are always in perfect condition for guests.
- Replenishing Hygiene Items and Amenities: Ensure that all rooms and rest areas have the necessary products, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, and other convenience items.
- Following Cleaning and Safety Procedures: Adhere to and strictly follow all cleaning procedures and safety standards established by Marriott, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and colleagues.
- Reporting Maintenance or Safety Issues: Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues that may affect the quality of guests’ stay or workplace safety.
- Collaborating with the Team: Work together with other housekeeping team members and other departments to ensure guests’ needs are met efficiently and professionally.
